Cathèdral Saint-Gatien de Tours

Tours is a biggish town in the Loire Valley with a couple of significant churches, one of which is Saint Gatien's Cathedral built between 1200 and 1500 or so. It's a huge gothic structure with an amazing rose window.
Taken from across the street.
Buttresses
One of the many older windows
They've recently added more contemporary windows like this one.
I lit a candle and said a prayer for a friend back home.
